OBJECTIVES
•
development
of SMA 3D and 2D
structures (wires, tubes, plates) from
TixNiyNb1-x-y
alloys deposited with organic and
inorganic
biocompatible thin films
in order to demonstrate
the memory shape effect, for use in biomedical applications.
•
investigation of these alloy before and after surface deposition organic and
inorganic coatings by elemental and phase composition, mechanical properties,
wear and corrosion resistance and shape memory effect;
•
modeling
and simulation
of the
new materials properties,
in order to
make
a correct choice of the material from which the parts will be made and to
optimize the geometry of involved parts for reduced costs and increased
performance.
